Teachers
A visit to the Australian Cotton Centre will prove to be a very worthy experience, both for teachers and students. Therefore to enhance this experience the Australian Cotton Centre has created a full education program.
The Australian Cotton Centre will provide students with a fun and interactive introduction to the cotton industry. The education kit includes a range of in-exhibition and in-class activities that relate well to a number of curriculum areas.
The Australian cotton industry is soundly based on scientific research, uses leading edge technology for crop and farm management and has taken on the challenge of finding environmentally sustainable practices.
The exhibition covers the story of cotton from field to fabric, and a visit could be a part of studies in science, agriculture, environment, technology, mathematics, the arts and english.
